Adding RSS feed to the BinB LinkedIn News feed |

LinkedIn are doing a great job of evolving their website. Recently they added the ability to bring in RSS feeds and add content to the news section of your Group.
What you on about Jon? Sorry chaps, let me help you understand... The BBC adds a story to their website. People who visit the website can read the story and that’s great but in reality, you may not go to the BBC website every day, you may prefer an alternative website, like LinkedIn. On LinkedIn you can post a profile of yourself and you can join various different interest groups and add your news and comments. I have created one called Business in Berkshire and so people from in and around Berkshire can join the group and share their news with other members. If members add news to the BinB Group then it is sent out each day to those members that wish to receive the emails. They can then click on the links from the story in the email to the story on the LinkedIn website and read more about it... The RSS feed enables us to take a feed from one site and add it on another... so by taking the RSS news feed from the BBC we can add their news to our BinB Group news and make it more interesting “potentially”!
